Susan has been a notary since 2016. She covers the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area. Her career as a notary probably wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t started investing in real estate.
“I quickly realized that being a notary signing agent would be very complementary to my interest in real estate investing.”
That may have been the original inspiration for becoming a notary, but 7 1/2 years later there are a variety of reasons why Susan finds the profession very satisfying.
“I love helping people achieve their dreams and being a part of something larger than myself. I also enjoy meeting new people and the freedom to largely set my own schedule.”
To help her clients, Susan is always prepared to go the extra mile.
“For example, I had a signing in December last year where the borrower had already paid their taxes directly to the county but this was not reflected in the settlement statement. We had to call the title company to get it corrected and then the lender. This took several phone calls and a couple of hours. Getting the loan documents signed was very time sensitive for the borrower, so I stayed with them and assisted until this detail was corrected and all parties were ready and able to move forward with the signing.”
Providing exceptional customer service is part of Susan’s commitment to being professional.
“As a professional I always strive for excellence in how I conduct myself with clients. This includes everything from being knowledgeable of my responsibilities to providing amazing customer service. Displaying this level of commitment reflects well on myself, Solidifi and the lenders that I work for.”
