Jay transitioned to appraising after a successful career in sales and sales management in the new home construction and home improvement industries.
“I had a couple of friends who were appraisers, and I was looking for a change and a chance to run my own business.”
Jay began as a trainee in 2019 and earned his Certified Residential License in July of 2021.
Running his own business is one of the aspects Jay finds most rewarding about being an appraiser.
“Being in control of my time and income is extremely fulfilling. I also value the relationships I’ve built in the industry.”
Jay is committed to going above and beyond for his clients.
“I’ve taken on rush orders and turned them around in less than two days. I’ve also returned to properties to clear subject-to conditions at no charge so the homeowner wouldn’t face additional fees.”
Professionalism is a priority for Jay.
“To me, being professional means being on time for inspections, meeting deadlines, and providing fair and unbiased valuations for every property.”
