Candice became a notary in 2020, during covid.
“I was in college for Business Management at the time and working as a hairstylist but then everything shut down. I turned to online classes and when I did, I came across a video on YouTube for Notary Signing Agents. I thought, “Wow I could so do this!” I did, and It has become the best thing I have ever done, business wise.”
Becoming a notary has been a rewarding experience so far for Candice.
“What I find most rewarding is the freedom of being self-employed, the amazing people I meet and the places I get to go that I would have not been able to experience before.”
Candice believes in doing whatever it takes to ensure signings go seamlessly.
“I have had signings where the signer was in the hospital and had put the whole covid suit on. I have had many late nights to accommodate signers’ schedules, and I have gone out multiple times to meet clients when issues arose.”
Professionalism plays an important part in Candice’s role as a notary.
“Being a professional to me means showing up on time; being accurate in all my tasks; and being accommodating, kind, compassionate and easy to work with.”
