Nathan began his real estate career in 2012 working for his uncle who purchased and flipped single-family homes throughout California. While on the job, he met appraisers. In 2013 a couple of them took Nathan on as a trainee. He became a certified appraiser in 2016 and has conducted property assessments throughout southern California ever since.
Variety is a big reason why Nathan likes what he does.
“No day is ever the same. I enjoy the diversity of properties and people I see. There are so many unique neighborhoods in this city.”
Being self-employed suits Nathan as well.
“I appreciate the perks of being self-employed such as having a flexible schedule. I can work as much or as little as I want, and over the years I’ve been able to create a healthy work/life balance.”
Nathan is always ready to go above and beyond for his clients.
“Recently I had a homeowner ask me, on our first call, if I could come over immediately for the appraisal because she was going into labor. This is one of many examples where I’ve had to accommodate the needs of the homeowner on short notice.”
A professional approach is something else Nathan is committed to.
“It makes a huge difference to clients when you answer their phone calls and respond promptly to their emails and texts.”
In Woodland Hills, the marketplace Nathan serves, the Warner Center area is generating a lot of buzz these days.
“This area is quickly becoming the ‘downtown’ of the San Fernando Valley with a plethora of new developments, both residential and commercial.”
One development potentially involves the LA Rams of the NFL.
“The Rams recently purchased The Village shopping center along with the former Promenade shopping mall and it appears this location will be the future Rams training site and headquarters. This has triggered multiple apartment/condominium projects as well as retail developments.”
